The Problem
A large automotive manufacturer had recently built a new plant for manufacturing their product in Canada. Through the new construction process, they had over 60 sectional doors and operators that needed to be installed. They were looking for a counter-weighted system that did not require springs.![sectional door installation process](https://www.wilcoxdoor.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/IMG_1351-scaled-1.jpg)

Installation of doors
The Solution
Wilcox provided Richards-Wilcox sectional doors (made in Mississauga, Canada) to meet their requirements. These sectional doors are polyurethane injected and met the R-Value requirements for the facility. Typically they are installed with springs, but we were able to make the adjustment to utilize a counterweight system. The operators that were used were also a Canadian product; a jackshaft operator made by Micanan (made in Montreal, Canada).
